ERIC J. ALVINE

Mr. Alvine is an associate at Fisher Kanaris, P.C. His practice concentrates in the representation and defense of architects, engineers and other design professionals in litigation based in tort, contract, subrogation, warranty and statutory claims.  Mr. Alvine’s construction litigation defense background also includes representation of the City of Chicago, general contractors, subcontractors and insurance carriers in third-party casualty coverage disputes such as tenders of defense and duty to defend.  He has practiced before Illinois State and Appellate Courts, as well as the federal courts. He is also experienced in alternate dispute resolution, successfully participating in arbitration and mediation proceedings. Mr. Alvine is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Alvine received a Bachelor of Arts in History from DePauw University, graduating in 1998.  He received his law degree from the John Marshall Law School, graduating in 2001.
