Jacob Murov is an associate at the law firm of Fisher Kanaris, P.C. and primarily concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance coverage and commercial litigation in both State and Federal Courts. He is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and has also been admitted pro hac vice in various State and Federal jurisdictions throughout the United States. Prior to joining Fisher Kanaris, Mr. Murov was an associate at a Chicago law firm where he gained valuable experience in tort defense and insurance coverage litigation. Mr. Murov received his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2004, and his B.S. degree from Indiana University in 2000. While in law school, he was the recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in his Evidence class. Mr. Murov also clerked for a Virginia Court of Appeals Judge one summer during law school. He is a member of the Chicago and American Bar Associations.
