DAVID M. ROACH

Mr. Roach joined Fisher Kanaris, P.C. as an associate in February, 2004. His practice is concentrated in litigation, primarily representing insurance companies in subrogation cases. Exemplar cases Mr. Roach is currently handling include a multi-million dollar product liability case alleging an international lawsuit involving a product manufacturing defect that required the recall of an entire product line produced by a Fortune 500 company. Mr. Roach is also involved in the litigation of a lawsuit against an international company whose defectively designed product allegedly caused the fire and destruction of a multi-million dollar commercial facility.

Mr. Roach hails from a trial attorney background where he represented plaintiffs in matters involving products liability, construction liability, medical malpractice and premises liability. Mr. Roach has extensive litigation experience. He has taken or defended over 200 fact and expert depositions, argued motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss and post-trial motions. Mr. Roach has tried numerous cases to verdict and has participated in all forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution, including meditations and arbitrations.

Mr. Roach received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University in 2001. He earned a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Oswego. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and has been admitted to practice pro hac vice in several states.
