Recently, Fisher Kanaris, P.C. successfully defended a warehouse owner in a weeklong trial in Wisconsin. Plaintiffs in that case included customers who stored goods in the warehouse that were destroyed after an arson fire. Plaintiffs alleged that the warehouse violated applicable building codes and fire codes by not having proper fire protection and that the warehouse owner was negligent for not having proper security, (the building was located in an area which had a high frequency of crime and the building had previously broken into).

  • Accident involving carrier that caused significant property and personal injury damages wherein the carrier was exposed to significant uninsured loss
  • Damage to super heater loaded on railcar during an unauthorized movement
